Today is White!

"Welcome! Welcome!" sang and rang out every sunbeam
as the Flower rose above the snow,
out into the world of light.

The Sunbeams caressed and kissed it, so that it opened itself fully,
white as snow and adorned with green stripes.
It bowed its head in happiness and humility.

from Hans Christian Andersen's "Sommergjækken"

Today there was sun!

I spend almost all day long sitting outside,
quietly watching the snowdrops moving their little white heads on the wind.

It was such a dreamy and lovely day.

my daughter says the snow drops are up in her yard in England....
I love the words,'bow their heads in happiness and humility'.....reminds me of the poem that describes trees as 'clapping praise for God' when their leaves move.....
---as always breathtaking work. Thanks,Sas.
